This is a great opportunity to network with other families in a relaxed, calm atmosphere

Please note:  There is no performance but you will be given a tour of the sets of our interactive walkabout show, exploring the sensory props & meeting some of the characters.  If there are spaces available & your child is happy to stay for the 2pm performance you will pay £5 per person.

  • Free visit (12noon - 1.45pm)
  • Familiarisation - arrive early:
    • for a conducted walk around the sets & general surroundings
    • to explore a storyline sensory box containing props & costumes connected with the story
    • Sensory tent
    • Games
    • Craft activities
    • Allocated eating area (please bring a picnic)
  • Some Makaton signing and voice output communication aids
  • Indoor & outdoor activities (please bring a coat)
  • Advance pack containing images of characters, songs and a Widgit symbol storyline
  • Accessible toilet facilities (some with hoists - please bring personal slings)
  • Free parking (some with disabled bays)
  • Taking photographs (please refer to section at foot of page)


To comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, parents attending events involving children must only take photographs of their own children for their own personal use. These photographs may be shared only with family and friends, they must never be offered for commercial sale and should  be shared via social networking sites only if they contain an image of solely your child and not others, unless you have express permission from the parents/carers of the other children who appear in your photograph.
